I'm taking the literature subject test in November and I'm kind of banking on getting above a 700, but I'm extremely nervous about it. I got a 720 on the critical reading section of the SAT and I've always been a strong reader. I don't read a lot of poetry though and I'm scared to death because I have a friend who got in the high 600's on the CR section, but a 580 on the lit SAT II. What can I do to really prepare?

Do what is usually done to prepare for subject tests:
take as many practice tests as possible.

I scored a 760 on the CR and a 5 on the AP Lit, but I kept scoring low 600s on practice tests, so I ultimately changed my mind and decided not to take it.

now i'm really worried. i wouldn't know what other subject tests to take because i'm horrible at science and math and i need two for early decision. i'm takin u.s. history as well, but world history isn't offered until december. i think spanish would be too hard for me.... crap.

Don't worry. Just buckle down and spend some time practicing.
You won't know how badly--or well, really--you'll do until you try.
