Literature/USH/WH

My World History foundation is pretty strong, but my literature and US history foundations are pretty mediocre (Well, Literature on the basis of poetry, but...)

I'm going to take US History this year (I'm going to be a Junior), but what do you recommend I read in regards to Literature? Would I be alright just re-studying World History in time for the December test (And therefore just study what we didn't in class)? I did well on the test questions on the CB site, just not the lit and us history parts...

I need to stop repeating things. DX

I don’t know about Lit, but for U.S unless you’re taking APUSH you should buy the AMSCO book and some of CB’s previous tests. Also, Sparknotes online is pretty good with trends topics.

APUSH was good prep for the subject test.

And literature, are you doing regular SAT prep? I felt like my preparation for critical reading there was helpful enough because there’s only so much you can do to prepare there.

i did two practice tests for the literature test and got a 740. if you just work on answering questions about literature in general and practicing stuff like the SAT 1 literature helps as well.
