Hey guys. I received my SAT scores, and they still look the same: 630CR, 720M, 640CR. From November to December, a lot has changed with where I want to apply because my dad was called to Angola, Africa, which leaves my mother and my 13 year old sister alone. I don’t know if I should stay in Georgia or not - God really seems to want me to stay here since my scores are not improving lol. Anyways here is the list I am looking at right now from most to least favorite choices:

University of Southern California

Georgia Institute of Technology

University of Wisconsin-Madison

University of Michigan at Ann Arbor

Rice University

Case Western Reserve University

The list dropped from nine to six because I am not too confident with the scores I have right now. But the good news is that the listed colleges accept January SAT scores. What are your thoughts, and thanks for your support!

If I received As in my senior courses (7 APs) and 630CR 720M 640W, how are my chances at University of Southern California and Georgia Tech - considering I am a Asian male who wants to study chemical engineering?

Thanks for the encouraging words CC. How hard is it for an OOS student to become accepted into USC if he or she is asking for a lot of tuition assistance? Also even though UC applications were due since November, do I still have a chance to apply since it is rolling admission? It is the holidays so I couldn’t call their office of admission. Thanks again.

You mean UC as University of California? If yes then that UC is not rolling admission. Undergraduate admission’s deadline for Fall 2008 was Nov 30.
