little extracurriculars in current school

Hey all.

So I'm applying to transfer. In high school I had a ton of extracurriculars and community service. I only have a couple low-key extracurriculars right now. I haven't really done too much, as the transition into college was tough and I didn't really focus on extracurriculars. Will that hurt me in the transfer process?

note: I'm at Penn now looking to transfer to Colorado College, Reed, Pomona, Wesleyan

From what I’ve gathered, if you’re a sophomore transfer, you can still put down E-Cs from highschool (jr&sr years). So they’ll look at that. Sure, you’ll be up against applicants with tons of extra-curriculars, but it seems like GPA and course load is the most important. Have strong essays and good recs, highlight the few low key activities you did participate in, and good luck!

That’s just my take on it!
