little question about teacher recs...

I'm applying to colleges with differently formatted teacher rec pages. I don't want to make my teacher write the same info about me on 5 different applications. Can I have my teacher write one big letter and attach it to my various applications, or something else? Thanks!

That's what they usually do, I mean when I applied my teachers wrote one letter and then for the questions they would usually answer "See Attached," and they would just do the checkboxes and that was about it. And it seemed to have worked out fine, so...

Ditto to what Tonyt88 said. For most schools, as long as the teachers fills out the information (his/her name, school address, course taught etc) and the checkboxes ("this student is a) best of my career b) ok c) no good"), an attached rec letter should be fine. I think there was only one school out of the 9 that I applied to that really wanted the teacher to answer a couple of "short answer questions" in addition to attaching a rec letter

Thanks guys!
