Wesleyan beat Williams by a convincing score of 59-14 this afternoon to secure its second unofficial, yet coveted, league within a league, Little Three football championship in three years. I believe this was the first time in 46 years that it was won in Williamstown. Wesleyan arrived there having shutout Amherst two weeks earlier at a Homecoming game in Middletown, 28-0. Williams travels to Amherst next week to battle in “The Biggest Little Game in America” while Wesleyan closes its season at home against Trinity in the Biggest Little Game in Central Connecticut.
Congrats to Wes!
Signed, an Amherst booster.
