Is it too late for me to get into Littlefield Dorm? I'm waiting for my housing contract to be sent to me, but I'm afraid I might have missed out on a spot at the dorm. :( Does anyone know about the current housing situation at UT?

When did you submit your housing application(not housing contract)?

It is not difficult to get into Littlefield; I think you have a very good chance of getting in there. It is nice and quiet, which is a plus, but the rooms there at TINY - have you visited it?

@foxshox: I think I submitted my housing application a day after I sent in my app, which would make the date November 29.

@MidwestMom: I haven't visited Littlefield yet, but I've looked at their webpage (along with the other dorm webpages). My preferred roommate and I decided that we liked the "cozy" feel of the Littlefield dorm. Plus, I think I would be more comfortable rooming with girls my age. Hopefully I get in. :)

I think you will get in. If you like quiet and cozy, you will love Littlefield. Some of the rooms have very little clearance around the edge of the bunk beds, though - I think they cross the line between cozy and cramped.

It is in a very nice location. I enjoy eating at the Littlefield patio cafe when I am on campus. Great pizza. My daughter tells me they have great mac and cheese on Thursdays. :)
