Living Expenses at BC

Hi,
I tried to find old threads that allowed people ask random questions but they seemed to have dropped off the forum (applogies if i just missed them). For those who are already at BC i was wondering what the aprox living expense for each semester is. BC has told me its $8743

Estimate of Student Expenses Fall 2006
Tuition and Fees $20
Room and Board $5,360
Books and Supplies $400
Medical Insurance $775
Personal Expenses $2,000
Health Services $188

TOTAL $8,743

Would this be your average semester or are they over/under estimating?

Sorry i realise the question is a bit painful but i am trying to get a gage on how much i need to save.

Thanks!

I have room and board listed at about $10,580 and tuition at over $29,000. Books at $650 and required fees at $456. (This is the Princeton Review 2006 edition) Do they require that you buy a laptop from them?

I don't think they require you to buy a laptop from them. I know they have a wicked nice lab in the main library, and the dorm room I was in on a day visit (a 4 person suite) had only two computers

But I could be wrong

Do they have laptops available to lease or should i buy one?

you can buy them through the school at a discount. I dont know about leasing though.

Ok cool, thanks!
Btw this is supposed to be the amount for an exchange student, just thought i would let you know in case someone else stumbles across it and thinks they can use it as thier expense estimate. I have no idea if the amount differs much or not.
