Living expenses

Other than tuition fees, how much does an undergrad int’l student have to pay to attend Bama for a year?

Well, you have to pay for course fees, room, board, books, insurance, personal expenses, and transportation. That could be about $15k per year, depending on your choices.

As an int’l, to get a visa to go to school in the USA, you have to show that you have the funds to cover the COA…even if you’re not going to spend that much. That’s a federal requirement, not a Bama req’t.

Do you qualify for a scholarship? If so, then that amount is subtracted from the COA that you have to show.

Have you looked at the int’l page to see how much you have to show in funds?

go to this link, scroll down to get an idea. this is for last year, so the actual numbers will be slightly higher.

What is your major?

You mention in another thread having high test scores. What are they?

major in finance or accounting probably, SAT score last time cr 600 math 780 writing 750 and i will retake this oct

It’s the math + CR that really matter for scholarships and admissions at most schools.

You have a 1380. You need at least a 1400 for free tuition. Good luck.
