Living in a Triple: Advice, Tips, Etc. please! Thank you!

So Cal's housing services gave me a Unit 1 Triple.

For those of you living in the triples, could you give me some advice as to how I allot my space with two other people?

Thank you CC folks. =)

did you just get your housing contract? anyways you should probably apply for a housing transfer

O__O

Is living in a triple really that bad?

He’s obviously FPF, so why would he want to transfer? A unit 1 triple is probably the best he could have hoped for.

Triples aren’t that bad, though highly dependent on your roommates. The best way to distribute space, and really the only way if you want to have a peaceful year together, is to get their early, but wait for your other roommates to show up and then all three of you can decide which beds/closets/desks you want. It shouldn’t be too big of a problem, really; space should be the least of your worries.

^FPF housing does not come out this early, he can’t be FPF

Thanks, that’s reassuring. I’m in the same boat.

I have a triple as well in Unit 2, but was just sent a transfer, but there is some problems with that too. Check my thread I’m gonna make lol

Before anything else, make sure to lay out the rules with your roommates. I’d say the most important thing is to keep the place clean! I cannot state that enough. If your roommates are really messy, then you’re in for a long semester. A messy room with tons of crap on the floor makes the room that much smaller.

Get the bottom bunk. If you need to bring a girl over, makes it so much easier. It also keeps your roommates from bringing his girl over 24/7, because who wants to hang out on the top bunk, 3 inches away from the ceiling.

start working out. get there early. if they try to take space from you, flex the guns. wear a tight shirt to show the bulging muscles.

^interesting advice there man
