Hey guys I’m a prospective Industrial Engineering major at GTech and I got into the Science and Math Research Training (SMaRT) Living Learning Community (LLC). This LLC is supposed to “engage first-year majors in the College of Sciences (CoS) in activities designed to foster success and to introduce them to undergraduate research opportunities.” However, I’m in the college of engineering, and in a major where job experience / internships / co-ops are much more valuable. Should I still sign up? Or should I ask for a different LLC like iGniTe (I don’t know if this option is possible yet)?
