In the letter, it says that “this year over 18,000 strong students are applying for 1,450 places in the first-year class.” Is this accurate? Wouldn’t this make LMU extremely competitive?
There’s no update on my son’s portal-did you see the response there?
Yeah it is in the decision letter
yes I was deferred for ea film production
18,000 apply and 1,450 or thereabouts enroll. Would need to know how many they admitted to know “selectivity.” Regardless, great school in great location. Congrats on your admission!
They accept a LOT more than that 1400 so that’s not an accurate sentence. Last year they accepted 8000 kids to get 1400 to enroll.
Yes in the portal. But last year they came out in waves throughout the day.
lol i haven’t gotten my decision yet and it seems like everyone else did i’m freaking out

My son was deferred EA for film production. He was accepted EA to Chapman (creative producing) and Emerson (film production). Stats: GPA W/UW: 3.97/3.71; SAT 1430, 5 AP classes, 4 Honors, Strong ECs.
