I thought it would be good to make a more general thread for transfers for LMU this year
My kid applied RD transfer and turned it in 2 hours before the deadline on February 1st. We didn’t get a decision by March 15 as we were promised, so we called the admissions office and they said that they didn’t receive his transcript until mid february. This was very aggravating to me… Our college counselor called the admissions office about 3 weeks ago and apparently they said that we should have a decision within about a week, but now it is almost a month later and we still have nothing. Does anyone have any idea when we’ll get a decision?
Btw, I’m not 100% sure about this, but about 2 weeks ago I THINK the application status changed from ready for review to application under review. I’m not really sure if it said ready for review previously but when I read application under review, it wasn’t something that I had noticed before so I thought the status might have changed. Does anyone know if this means anything different or if it helps to give insight on when we’ll get a decision?
Is anyone having an issue seeing their myPAW? When I click it, it opens an to a white page that never loads or it says “Server Error in ‘/mypaw’ Application.” and has a bunch of codes. I don’t want to call about my status and just want to see online! ugh!
@sbccstudent19 I can still access it! Mine still says “application under review”… Has anyone else checked my paw and seen a change in their status?
@cranberries21 I was able to see mine in a different browser (google chrome instead of firefox) but mine also says under review. When did you submit your app?
@sbccstudent19 I submitted it literally minutes before the deadline because I wasn’t originally planning on applying but decided to last minute. What about you?

@sbccstudent19 @Panitaispretty it says on the website if you applied by the application date you’ll hear by May 1st… Which is only a few more weeks but it feels so far away! Do you guys both have your AA degrees?
No my thing is transfer without degree. I don’t really know exactly what an AA is tbh:(
@cranberries21 Yes I have Sociology for Transfer AA (my major), and then two others, i think social sciences and humanities. By completing my general ed and sociology classes, I was able to obtain them without doing too much. @Panitaispretty Does anyone know the transfer rates? I have a 3.75 and I am nervous to hear back!
Hm! Yea most of my general Ed is done I’m just missing lab

Did anyone submit their application through the Common App? It’s killing me not knowing through My Paw, whether or not I have been admitted.
I spoke to an admissions counselor, and she told me the average transfer GPA was a 3.4 @sbccstudent19
I applied via Common App and you can activate MyPaw to know your status, @Arod101 go to MYLMU and set up your account so you have access to your financial aid and MyPaw.
@Arod101 nope I did mine through MyPaw too! And what does it mean when they ask for Updated college transcript for term currently attending. Are they asking for final grades? Because my semester isn’t done until the end of May!?
