Hello. I'm currently a senior in highschool wishing to attend LMU's screenwriting program. I have a 3.0 GPA scored a 18 on the ACT. 21 in reading, 20 in science, and a 16 in both english & math. Im not sure if LMU focuses mainly on grades/test scores but I have a very wealthy experience in writing. I've been writing since the age of 5 having completed my first novel recently. I have other 150 pages of written poems, stories and other creative literature that I composed. I'm currently enrolled in a creative writing class and I've visited my schools creative writing club in my previous years. I believe my scores and GPA fall below average for LMU but my writing portfolio might make up for it. Also, if I dont make it into LMU what are other great back up choices that will allow me to participate in screenwriting studies and build my GPA until I'm ready to transfer into LMU? This entire situation is entirely stressful I'm seeking any aid that is offered. Thank you for your time :).
