i can tell you what i know from what i've seen, heard, etc.

LMU
social life: good amount of student participation, but no football team and limited school spirit. a lot of people go home on the weekend and the campus "dies down". lots of people from SoCal, lots of rich Catholic kids but also a good diversity pool and fair amount of out-of-staters. might be hard to start a club from what i hear, but there is plenty to do on campus. not many parties since LMU can be strict about it, so people go off-campus to USC and UCLA for partying.

academics: solid academics, nothing amazing but not bad. i've heard communications, film and humanities are the best, avoid if you're a science/math major...professors are friendly and give personal attention. they're smart and know their stuff. LA provides great internship/work opportunities.

job availibility upon graduation: some students got great LA connections, some feel they haven't been prepared enough. depends on what you make of your experience. LA has plenty of work, though if you choose to stay.

housing: dorms are nice, comfortable and well-maintaned. plenty of housing options for freshmen and upperclassmen. after freshmen year people move off campus since i don't think housing is guaranteed all four years.

thank youu.
