LOA/Nomination Question

Sorry if this has been asked before...but how often does someone who has received an LOA not receive a nomination?

We have heard of it happening - this would happen in a very competitive district and if the candidate did something very wrong on the interview. Then again, it may be urban legend. That’s why we always suggest that LOA recipients take the nomination process and interview very seriously.

I’ll call my Admissions officer and see if i can get any information out of him on these stats.

“how often does someone who has received an LOA not receive a nomination?”

If your question is really : “what are my chances of getting a nomination if I have a LOA?”
The answer is: “the odds are overwhelmingly in your favor”

But…as MOT has said this is only true if you take the nomination process seriously and put forth your best effort. This is not the time to be complacent. LOA recipients have a head start but the nomination must still be earned.

Thanks for your replies/help.

sehopkins,

Best of luck to you.
