Dear UCR Student:

Because we are implementing a new system, we've run into a temporary problem
processing your federal Direct Loan (Stafford and/or PLUS Loan). This has
resulted in the loan(s) currently not being ready to display as credits on your
Growl Student Account or Current Activity (there is no change to your loan
award amount). We are working to fix this immediately. This trigger was
activated on August 21, and we expect that by Sept. 1 your loan statuses will
be displaying correctly on Growl. We sincerely apologize for any concern this
may have caused you. Please review your Growl account on or after Sept. 1 for
your correct loan status. This problem did not impact any of your other aid,
and should not impact your loan disbursement(s) on Sept. 15, the fee payment
deadline.

Our phones and email are extremely busy at this time, so we would appreciate
it if you would not contact us regarding this specific problem, and instead
check your Growl account again on Sept. 1. For the time being, you can assume
that the Fall portion of your loans will credit your student account (assuming
you have enrolled in at least 6 units, and completed any appropriate loan
documents, as explained on our website at www.finaid.ucr.edu). Thank you.

anyone else know what's going on or called in?
