Hi I am currently an incoming freshman entering UCR, as of the 21st of August I have applied for loans for UCR at studentloans.gov for sub/unsubsidized loans. I have completed the MPN and counseling work. I was wondering if I declined the loans section at the award status of Growl in March, am I still able to reapply for loans? If it does get accepted how long do I wait before it enters my current activity account on growl and will it have enough time to pay off my balance before September the 15th? I have called numerous times and waited nearly 40 minutes between each call, but it has not worked as of yet. Thank you very much for your time and response.

yeah just email ur fin aid advisor to reinstate awards or just do a revision on growl

luckycharms949, thank you for your help in assisting me, yet I don’t really know how to complete the revision on growl. For example, what if I owe 1,200 dollars per quarter how much would I need to input to substantially cover the whole year just from federal stanford subsidized loans or do I also need unsubsidized? In addition is it under Loan adjustments?
Thank you for your guidance!

i think the school lets u borrow like 3500 max for subsidized so then u would need like a 100 bucks to pay the rest and no worth getting a loan with interest for.
i dont have access to growl right now but i emailed my fin aid counselor and they just reinstated the amount
