<p>Okay, I must admit I need to vent. But truly, this is the sort of thing that makes me so glad that our d is going to BS with thoughtful, intelligent and well-informed people.</p>
<p>My 7th grader came home and told me that his Social Studies teacher told the class today that Obama is Muslim and is trying to bring Sheria Law into our government. Sheesh! </p>
<p>Any other stories of local school frustrations?</p>
<p>Wow! Thats a really bad one. I hope you’re going to contact the head of the school before that teacher starts to teach the kids the world is flat.
We had a 300 pound teacher who brought bags of candy to school every day. My 1st grader used to come home wired from sugar.</p>
<p>Well, we are in a state where our congressman was worried that Guam might tip over if it became over-populated.</p>
<p>In that case, if he’s worried, you’re not so bad off. I think only the reason his colleagues don’t worry about Guam tipping over from overpopulation is because they think it could be a good thing.</p>
