Location questions.

Any help would be appreciated!
I was accepted to UCSB as a transfer, and I am having second thoughts due to the location. As an anthro/religious studies major I am interested in interning in a museum. I have applications out for NYU, BU, Brandeis, UNC, UCLA, and American University. Anyone one of these are in an ideal location for internships with possibly the exception of UNC. I am uncertain about actually being accepted so I decided to try and apply at two other schools where I may have a greater chance. Rutgers and Seton Hall are my east coast "safety" schools, even though in reality they are probably less safety and more along the lines of me just being competitive for them. IF I were denied admission to all but Rutgers or Seton Hall, should I choose east coast over UCSB for sake of proximity to a greater number of internships? UCSB will likely offer me the most financial aid. Would you choose American over UCSB? the location is ideal.
please let me know what you think. I know this question at this point is purely hypothetical seeing as I have yet to be accepted to any of the above mentioned schools.
Thanks ahead of time.
