Lockdowns?

does it ever bother you when you have lockdowns or bomb threats for several days in a row? In my school last week there was a gang rivalry and we were on lockdown for three days in a row.... and then we had to take exams.

yeah we have practice lockdowns. we tried implementing them last year, but none of the teachers took it seriously and ended up getting detention from the sheriff hahahaha. so this year the teahers are all pretty serious about it. we have to barricade the door with a big table and lock it and then build an interior barricade full of desks and stuff. its interesting.

We don't really have lockdowns, although my school is in Spanish Harlem. It's not a bad school, and there's really only one entrance(the back one is hard to find), so it's well-protected from outside people.

In JHS there was a bomb threat, and we all had to leave the building. I noticed it wasn't an ordinary fire alarm drill when we walked about 5 blocks away from the school.

And in Kindergarden there was a bomb in a garbage can outside of the school. I'm not sure if it was real, but I got the day off and it was awesome.

The school I go to is very peaceful. We have never had a lockdown (not even a practice) but last year we had a false fire alarm, 2 fires in the girls room, a false haz mat incident and to top it off a bomb threat.

For the bomb threat, they just pulled the fire alarm. For a level 2 evacuation drill they announce it, then pull the fire alarm.
