Loft Beds (for Exeter specifically)?

Hey, can any former/current Exonians let me know if you're allowed to bring your own loft bed or something to that effect? Thanks.

why do you need a loft bed? there should be enough space w/ just a reg bed

You can't bring your own bed (or any other furniture) without first arranging it with the school- you'd have to call. But I agree with tuesdayair, you really don't need a loft bed.

oh, okay. thank you I was just wondering...how big are the dorm rooms then (on avg)?

I had a loft bed in Dunbar Hall my senior year. It looked amazing (when my room was not, as Dunbar immortalized it in my senior goodbye poem, a "toxic wasteland") but was rather uncomfortable. The Exeter beds are larger than average and are too large for loft beds, so I used a fold-out bed all year, and changing sheets at that altitude was not fun. I sold the bed the last week of the year, and realized in that time that a regular bed was infinitely more comfortable...
