<p>While the debate over Macs versus PC's rages on, I was also wondering if anyone has bought or installed the Lojack for laptops software (available through Amazon.) </p>
<p>After reading on the blogs about the two laptop thefts at MIT this past year, and wondering if I would be diligent about using a slot key lock, I am considering whether to install this on my new MacBook Pro. The best part seems to be that the monitoring company has former police on staff and handles all the communication with law enforcement to identify the location of and recover the missing laptop (with an estimated 85% recovery rate.) Anyone who has actually bought this have any thoughts on whether the software is worth the price?</p>
