General info: I’m a junior from Virginia. I’m a middle class Asian female trying to pursue a career in engineering. I go to a large, predominantly white suburban high school.

Academics:
Weighted GPA (my school doesn’t do unweighted): ~4.43
Class rank: not sure but most like in top 5%
SAT: 2250 (one sitting): 660 CR 800 M 790 W
ACT: will take
SAT II: will take Math II and Physics
AP: Bio (3), World History (3), Calc AB, Microecon, Macroecon, Lang, Chem
Next year I will take AP Government, Calc BC, Statistics, Physics, Lit, Compsci

u seem like the average asian female applying to stem- u have as much of a shot as the others like u- I would suggest finding a creative way to differentiate urself from the others- stats wise ur strong tho

Youre in state for UVA and Virginia tech so you’ll almost certainly get into those two. I think you could get into NYU Georgia tech and Purdue. The rest are all so competitive so no one can accurately chance you but you seem like you’d be a competitive candidate. Agree with the above poster try to make yourself stand out whether it’s through your essays cause you do seem like the average applicant. That won’t kill your chances but it’ll make them harder so do your best to stand out. Best of luck!
