@3puppies It’s nice that the school could actually use them and wanted them! I had at least 6’ of AP and ACT/SAT prep books having 4 kids roll to college close together. Couldn’t find anyone to take them - schools, tutoring center (who had some that were 7 years old mind you, I had current ones)! Certainly a few hundred bucks in them. Was just about to recycle when I got into Nextdoor for the classifieds mainly (the other stuff is too much drama for me) and was able to find someone who gratefully picked them up from my driveway.
The only thing my HS wanted…and gratefully took…were college guidebooks…like Fiske, Princeton Review, and the like.
We had current versions of those…and they were happy to have them to give to students.
You can slow it down… Once you have your college list decided, log into your College Board account and turn off the college search service that gives them permission to sell your name.
