<p>i ordered all my books, and all of them arrived at my house today except one.
the one book they did not send was 1 of 2 math books...BOTH of which were "optional".</p>
<p>so i was wondering. if i got 1 of the two books that were optional, do i really need the other?</p>
<p>I'd like to know that too. I'm taking math 3B and both of the books are optional, so I didn't order them.</p>
<p>for classes that have more than one required or optional textbook on the bookstore website, wait for classes to begin before buying anything to find out which ones you actually need. math 3b has two books listed, but it is obvious that only one of them will/may be used as they both cover the same material.</p>
<p>email the professor if you must buy them ahead of time. and are you guys buying them from the bookstore?? i thought the whole point of buying early was to shop around for a cheaper deal???? <em>shrugs</em></p>
