This discussion was created from comments split from: advice on London international schools.
i know this is an old thread, but we will be moving to London on the 1st August with 9yo twin boys. (late birthday).
we are in the home stretch for admissions with visits to IB, American and British schools coming up. I kept seeing “private msg” comments about ACS. What gives? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Hillingdon due to proximity is our ACS choice. We have boys that are very different. One thing though is that they are slightly behind their current grade (new school) in reading comprehension; each to varying degrees although tops in maths (one receives enrichment) and all other subjects. Any info on ACSH, ACSC, ICS, Dwight, Abercorn and North Bridge House would be wonderful. Thanks.
I actually went to ASL for a couple of years… I really liked it, although my memories of it aren’t super vivid.
What about TASIS?
I wouldn’t choose TASIS right now. Lots of stuff going on, in part because of a very negative government inspection. The link to the Ofsted report is https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/ELS/125423
