London Internships?

<p>I am looking to get experience abroad for either this coming summer or the summer after, and I am particularly intersted in London. I am a sophomore physics major at Cornell University, with a lot of coursework in Economics. Does anyone have any suggestions on good summer intership programs in London? Anything in the fields of science research (such as an REU type program in the US) or economics would be very intersting to me.</p>

<p>I am having a hard time finding quality programs online. The REU setup in the US is great, because they are fairly standard and are nationally sponsered. Maybe there is something similar for England?</p>

<p>From my experience 90% of the internships offered in London (or anywhere in Europe for that matter) are given to European students. </p>

<p>The best way to get into something overseas is to know someone who works in the company. I would suggest looking into Cornell's abroad programs and speaking to people who work in the London office to learn more about intership opportunities for U.S. students.</p>
