I am an American student very interested in applying to LSE. I am aware to even be considered I must offer at least 5 ap courses that they classify as relevant. My intended degree is a BSC in Government and Economics. I was looking at the ap courses they classify as relevant and was surprised to see science courses such as ap biology, ap chemistry, and ap physics on the list. I have never really been a science person but have done well in past honors science courses. I am just wondering that since for whatever reason it may be, they look for ap science courses it would be worth my while to take them. When I apply I will be offering ap calc. bc, both ap english courses, ap chinese, both ap economic courses, and all the social studies/social sciences they classify as relevant, so its not like I will be short on ap courses without the ap sciences. I just really don’t know if taking any ap science course and would make a difference or if it is worth it.
It won’t make any difference- you have more than enough, and you have the most relevant ones, which are Calc BC and some essay-based exams.
