I really like the policies of UK universities (less emphasis on legacies, no outside help on sending in applications, and cheaper tuition lol). But I was scrolling through the Admissions Page on LSE's website for International Students (U.S.), and the list is...intimidating. I feel like it's worse than the Ivy League's requirements, but maybe it's just because I'm more familiar with US schools. (This is the list: http://www.lse.ac.uk/study/informationForInternationalStudents/countryRegion/northAmerica/USA/entryRequirements.aspx)

Anyway, since I'm still a bit new to applying to international schools, I spent some time reading the other posts on LSE and its basic information, and I did not come across anything that talks about LSE's admissions process. I know for UK schools there are personal statements and all that, but is the process holistic, like many US universities?

Of course, I'm really curious as to what my chances are for applying there (probably something in the humanities/politics field, rather than business/finance).

Are there any other schools I should consider? Preferably in English-speaking countries lol.
Thank you all! And good luck to the seniors going to colleges, and the juniors applying to colleges next year. :)
