Long Beach question

So, at least three people at my school have heard from CSU Long Beach so far (1 got in, 2 rejected), and yet I still haven't heard anything from them. I applied in early October.

So...is there a reason they haven't sent me a letter yet? Or do I just have to wait longer than everyone else?

no worries. your letter will come.

if not just give the school a call.

My prediction is that you're neither an instant reject nor instant acceptance. I got an acceptance letter for CSULB last year around the end of January. If you applied for the Presidential Scholarship, those letters don't come out until around late March/April. Personally, I got the scholarship, but I didn't think CSULB was a fit for me because of the large campus. Some people I know got their acceptance letters later. Just remember that the letters come out in waves (combination of acceptance and rejection).

My daughter got accepted on 2/3 I just got the letter dated 2/4 this weekend (2/14), we found out over the phone (there is a number you can call 1-562-985-2500) follow the prompts you need ssn#, it is all recorded information. Good Luck.

Our daughter put applications to CSULB, SDSU and Cal Poly Pomona as communication major in mid Nov. and got accepted by Pomona in mid Dec. and by SDSU in early Jan. It's the end of Feb. now and we are still waiting for the answer from CSULB. Is CSULB more competitive and better school than SDSU? We are from out of states and we revisited both schools recently and our daughter likes both CSULB and SDSU. Which school do you recommend? Any suggestions you could offer are greatly appreciated.

does anyone know if they notify via email too?
or any online way?

For my daughter there was no email, just called (2/3), and then a letter about 10 days later, and invitations, etc. via email starting on 2/22.

hmmm
now we're in March

I wonder....

Well, I am currently taking college courses with my required high school courses. Do you think they are getting mixed up with my transcript with all these random college units I'm getting?

I'm also making up my foreign language requirements because I only took 1 year of a foriegn language and I'm finishing it up at a community college. Are they like, totally confused or something?

It's already March and I have heard nothing!
