I would like to go to ucla, but im pretty sure that i wont be able to get in, so i'll try Long Beach state instead; does it look like i have a chance? I plan to do more extacurriculars over the year and summer. I plan on majoring in Linguistics and Sociology and minor in business. Oh, furthermore, if anyone thinks that there are any other schools that are good for linguistics, your advice wouold be much obliged.

You’re in at Long Beach for sure. UCLA will have to be a reach. Improve on your SAT scores. I see that you are good in different languages, maybe write about that in your essays.

oh. our school just started it this year.
its going well, at least from what we have done so far. Recently we had a wake-a-thon with those from the jade division. I like it, it makes me feel as though im helping

You look good for Long Beach State. Get to liking history or just tolerating it more - it’s a must. You won’t keep them grades unless you become more interested in it. Hopefully you have more rounded/various courses in addition to all those different languages (which are good)! Long Beach State is cool - my girlfriend graduated from there years ago. I almost went there, but I chose the military. Take care & good luck. Marlon, Los Angeles.
