<p>Is there an optimal time setting when the essay topic took place?
I moved when i was 8ish and that really influenced my life. is it bad to write about something that occured so long ago? is it better to write about something that occured during my high school years? (i could write about something recent that revealed one of my qualities ... but i sincerely believe that the move had the most impact on me)</p>

<p>I think that's fine. I wrote about something that happened to me when I was 9 and the repercussions its had on my life...soooo....that's sort of what you're doing right? haha.</p>
