Long Essay question

As you reflect on your life thus far, what has someone said, written or expressed in some fashion that is especially meaningful to you? Why?

When they say "said" and "expressed", it seems like they are looking for short statements, things like "A picture is worth a thousand words", or "Don't count your chickens before they hatch". Can I write about a book that I have read as something that "someone has written", or must it also be some short written statement?

You can write about anything you want (book or whatever), just make sure the essay ends up being about you. They are NOT looking for a book report.

they make the questions very vague and open-ended in expectation of something amazing and creative. they dont want 20000 similar answers.
