LONG LIST:

Amherst
Williams
Swarthmore
Wake Forest
Carleton
Bowdoin
Smith
Wellesley
Grinnell
Colgate
Barnard
Dartmouth
Columbia
Yale

It's too expensive to visit colleges, so there's no chance for me to look at those schools.
I'm looking for small classes, ideally cool location(with snow), strong humanties, psychology programs where students have high acceptance rates at law school.
MOST importantly, fin. aid , my family income is 60,000 annually

Amherst-REACH
Williams-MATCH
Swarthmore
Wake Forest-MATCH
Carleton-ELIMINATE
Bowdoin-GOOD
Smith-Keep because lesser known
Wellesley-GOOD if you want all girls
Grinnell-ELIMINATE
Colgate-GREAT MATCH
Barnard-GOOD/Slight reach/connected to an IVY
Dartmouth-GOOD
Columbia-Slight Reach
Yale-REACH

You might want to think about whether you want all girls(WELLESLY), liberal arts college (AMHERST), large colleges (YALE, COLUMBIA), or medium sized like Wake Forest. Then we can most on from there.

If you need aid, and are a Canadian citizen, why are you not applying to Canadian schools? A great many US schools do not give aid to international students, and I believe that includes Canadians. If you really want a US school, you need to spend serious effort on finding those that will give aid to a Canadian.
