Long passages are easy...but short single passages are KILLERS!
seriously lol, this is ridiculous. i miss like 2-3 passage-based questions on the long ones, but short passages are like super hard for me >.<??
i have no clue sometimes lol.
does anyone feel the same ?

Yeah sometimes they are real hard. I get through them by realizing that it's easy to go through them meticulously.

Yes!!!! omg me too! The supoer mini one paragraph ones. Like I sometimes ace the longgg ones but get only half of shhort ones? ***f

yeah. heres my results:
2 short passages: +1/4 (LOL?)
long passage: +9/12
mmmm should i get mad??!!
=[

i sort of have a similar problem on those improving paragraphs in the writing section. Their shortness is too much for me!

What?? You shouldn't ever miss questions on those, they're very easy. I've never in my life missed an improving paragraph question.

What exactly makes you miss point on them? Perhaps I can help.

Personally, I despise the "improving paragraphs" questions. They are highly subjective in nature and force you to make judgments grounded in your personal opinions rather than on the basis of concrete facts. I'd bet that if a paragraph of Hemingway's was used as the text of such a question, multiple improvements would be suggested.

lol im not very adept at improving paragraphs either =/
most of the time i get +4 or +5, only sometimes +6 >.<

Tips for improving paragraphs:

-Always remove extra, unrelated topics from paragraphs. ALWAYS, no exceptions. If the sentence doesn't go 100% along with the entire paragraph it should be deleted.
-Naturally correct grammatical errors as best as you can, but never lose sight of the author's point.
-Every paragraph has a single point - when you read through it make sure you know it. This is NOT CR; it's actually very easy to find the author's main point here.
