Long, somewhat complicated question about course reqs..

I have kind of a weird situation.

I took a Physics111 one-semester college credit course at a local college over the summer, with the intention of skipping Physics Honors at my school and taking AP physics (mechanics). The class only covered mechanics, and by now (late august) I'm not sure if I can pass the placement tests my school has to skip into AP Physics (the Physics Honors midterm and final). The tests include mechanics, magnetism, etc. A bunch of people at my school failed these tests, after taking the full-year HS class. The sci. supervisor said I could also talk to the physics teacher and let him make the determination, if I'm proficient enough to take the class.

I don't want to take Physics Honors because half of the year would be a waste of time, and I already took a college class on it, which would make it look like I just took advantage of the college class to get a better grade in the HS class.

Is it bad if I were to not take AP Physics or Physics Honors (meaning there'd be no physics on my high school transcript)? I'm planning to go into pharmacy or at least the science field, but I'd send the transcript from the college (I finished with an A, and it included labs). Could I try asking my GC to mention that I had to take a practical arts class to graduate? It's true, but I planned on trying to take it independent study and take physics in the empty slot.

So if I were to try to take AP Physics, I'd have to meet the principal to get approval for an independent study practical arts course, get the practical arts teacher to agree to an independent study, talk to the physics teacher to see if he thinks I can take the class, then rearrange my schedule with the GC--and it's possible that I won't even be able to take the class if it's full or there's other schedule conflicts.

Would all this be worth taking AP Physics, with the intention of going into science/pharmacy? Another problem is that I don't think the credit from the summer physics class can be transferred, because the class was open only to high school students, although the curriculum isn't different, and teacher is from the regular faculty.

Also, I've taken AP Chem and bio, and I'm taking a molecular biology class this year.
