Hopefully, you can get that (math?) score up on your SAT reasoning, get 2200+ and it’ll put you in a better position, both from an admissions perspective, and your own psychological perspective.

Emory-(Low reach if RD, high match if ED)
Carnegie Mellon- low reach
Colgate- low reach
U Michgan- match
UCSD- match
U Illinois- almost safety
U Texas- almost safety
Rutgers- almost safety

The only thin hurting you is GPA, but other than that, you have a very good chance at getting into at least a few of your top choices.

Chance me back

Thanks. That would my CR score…I’m one of those typical fobs who aren’t very good at english. Yeah, my grades are an eyesore, and I’ll probably get it up to a 3.8 by the end of this year.

I would agree with the other assessment of your chance, except I would put colgate as more of a reach: I got in there with a 3.7 which is roughly the average and your SATs are right on.

^
So if I had similar numbers and you got in, how does that make it a reach? I don’t understand that reasoning…
