Would it be buying a longboard to get around campus?
Can you take it into classes and stuff?
At orientation I saw some students riding longboards around..
Going to UMich btw.

I don’t get where to put it in class …

Never live in the past but always learn from it.

Next to you?? LOL I don’t know @__@

Long boards are pretty common at my school. People just put it down by their chair.

They’re everywhere at UMich. Professors don’t care what you bring into class, your first year lectures will be too big for them to notice or care.

Personally I’d rather just walk though. Good exercise and you don’t have to carry the thing into buildings

There’s quite a few students who use them at my college. But half of them didn’t even know how to longboard, so they would almost run into me or walk while carrying it…

I used to longboard/skateboard alot, but quit after two major accidents. (I’m a roadbike guy now)

One such accident resulted in a nipple scar, the other – very bloodied/bruised lip.

If you want my two cents though, try Earthwing Minigliders. Heard they are a joy to ride.

My professor had a designated spot for them up by his podium. That way, the people who brought them weren’t fiddling with them/blocking aisles with them.

If you put it in the back/side of a medium size classroom, you can keep your eye on it without hogging too much space.
