<p>I'm applying as a transfer to Yale, Columbia and Penn... I was waitlisted or rejected to each of those the first time around, so I'm applying for next year as a sophomore. (I'm at NYU now). I have all the qualified HS grades/stats, so I'm a decent candidate, but I need to find a way to stand out, like I didn't last year...</p>
<p>I was wondering if I should include a final paper that I wrote for my honors seminar. It highlights my both my academic writing and interests (the amazing course inspired me to pursue the academic/postgraduate plans that I now have). The professor who taught the class, a well known NYU professor, to say the least, is also writing me a recommendation. </p>
<p>The paper is is about 15 pages long, but I could probably shorten it to be about 7-9 pages, depending on how much I cut out. I feel like it might help me, if they take the time to read it, or it might not. </p>
<p>Opinions, please?</p>
