<p>academics: glad you have your priorities straight! 
great academics of course!
social life: amazing. I think its the number 1 or 2 party school if that tells you anything!
school rep: great. globally recognized. it’s a great school.
sports: huge sports programs! they’re great!
climate: austin weather can’t be beat. pretty much always sunny and warm!
diversity: very diverse. lots of different ethnicities and people from different countries.
girls: rated #1 for hottest girls (I think by playboy!) so you definitely don’t have to worry about that!</p>

<p>wow, thanks for that. i´ve posted the same thread in Miami and have been told that a private is better than a public. what u guys think about that??? im paying about the same in both schools.</p>
<p>hmm I guess in some ways it is, but I gave up private schools (SMU, Rhodes, TCU, etc) for UT. UT just seems the best! it has great academics, social life, location, etc etc.</p>
