<p>I got this dorm and was wondering if anyone had it and liked it or did not like it? I know it is the newest and is definitely nice but how were people's experiences in it last year?</p>

<p>I lived here last year. LSM is basically the best dorm on campus. In my opinion, it’s just really solid. You’ll never have to worry about bugs, no natural lighting, etc, that you prob would worry in older dorms. I honestly think that our dorm last year was pretty cliquey… There wasn’t a huge sense of community. The people you live around on the same wing of your floor will more than liekly be your best friends, but if you go on the other wing of the same floor, it’s quite possible you’ll go thru ur whole year not ever meeting them. the rooms are perfect in size and each has a sink. i have visited other elite schools before coming to emory and i can say with certainty that emory’s dorms trump the others (well LSM, Fevans, Turman do at least).</p>
<p>overall: LSM is very nice. Very upscale for a college dorm. BUT… maybe not the exact college experience you’d get in HArris or dobbs.</p>
