I didn't know comp sci paid that well or a mathematics degree.

Hmmm so if I double major does that mean that my starting salary would be 1.Starting salary of 1 + 2.) Starting Salary of 2?

Or would it just be slightly higher or not higher at all?

Also how hard are the courses for math majors? A lot of proofs? What about math + econ majors?

No. It's not additive. It's multiplicative.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's exponential. like 50000^60000, etc.

Your degree is not the only indicator of your starting salary. They will also look at you as a person. A nice degree helps, but if you aren't resourceful, social, and personable, no one will want to hire you.

I can't tell whether this is a joke or srs business.

I am convinced that Splintercell is a student from a rival Ivy that is here to grace us with a load of laughs. His posts have gotten more and more comical by the day. I've enjoyed them and the terrific responses.
