<p>I'm picking out my schedule for my junior year</p>

<p>I was going to take
2 honors
2 ap (chem and eng)
and 2 dual enrollment(at community college) (physics because we only have physics honors and math because we only go up to ap calc ab) </p>

<p>My question is that.....do top schools look down upon these d.e. classes instead of ap classes. I have a reason(my school doesn't offer high enough math or physics) </p>

<p>also . should i also take d.e. english
it is the one d.e. class offered on my high school campus.
it is taught by the ap english teacher too =]
and it is worth more gpa points
I want to take it but I dont want it to lok bad by no taking the ap?
what should I do? =]</p>

<p>No for your first question. As for the second, why don’t you take the d.e. and take the AP exam in May? You don’t really need a standard AP English course to do well on the exam. Just make sure you do a lot of prep to make sure you are familiar with all of the concepts.</p>
