Well, she finally did it ... DD finally made her decision and Hendrix it is. We're ready to plow in to everything full-force. Texasmom, I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of one another! I can hardly wait! :)

Congratulations to your DD. It sounds like she followed her heart. Hopefully the next drama of which dorm to choose will not be as hard. As who knows. maybe Ultimate Frisbee will be Hendrix's stadium sport!

My daughter did an overnight on Sunday and loved everything about it. She
will be attending in the Fall. We could'nt be more pleased. We actually did visits at 14 schools so this was no snap decision. Congratulations to all.

That's wonderful news, Amanda. I'm happy to hear your daughter enjoyed the Hendrix experience, too.

Texasmom, after she gave us the decision last night (she came sauntering in to our bedroom in her orange Hendrix sweatshirt after midnight!), we got online and looked at the dorms again. Quite honestly, at this point, she probably won't really be able to request much of anything. She'll probably just have to take what's left, but I think she will be fine with that. She's just so happy to have the decision made.

Congratulations. Perhaps they will all be in the same dorm together as my D only sent her housing stuff in a few weeks ago. I'm just glad the decision is finally made. I will not breathe the final sigh of relief until the last financial aid letter is received which should be this week. Let's all commiserate again in the fall.

Congrats to you all! Hendrix has some great students on the way for the class of 2010! :)

Splashmom: So glad to hear that your D has made her final decision--and I like her way of announcing it! (Not yet for my kid. . .)
