<p>It’s the National Collegiate Triathalon!</p>
<p>Men’s swim start - 7:30a, Women’s 10am…</p>
<p>my niece is competing for MIT, DS and she will get together tonight. Didn’t realize what a huge thing this was, wish I could be there to see that swarm of kids swimming the Black Warrior River!</p>
<p>My daughter won the Triathlon Sprint National Championship on that course back in September. We combined that race with her official campus and Honors College visit and it was an amazing experience. All through a rough fall and winter of decision making I think she kept returning to that win and what it would be like to race Collegiate Nationals on her home course – I think it was a big part of her decision to chose Alabama. She’s excited that she’ll race it next April in an Alabama jersey and would love to get a podium finish in front of a home crowd. It was a great venue for racing and both the University and the city of Tuscaloosa did a terrific job hosting.</p>
