My recommendation would be to keep doing what your doing. I think you know you are doing quite well. The trick is to keep doing it, even if it gets tough...especially if it gets tough. The biggest concerns schools have with a student such as yourself, is trying to gauge how you deal with failure.

So keep volunteering, keep doing sports, keep up on your homework, and don't forget to have a life outside of school. It is a microcosm in much bigger, larger, exciting world. I wish my brother knew a girl like you. He is blowing it as a junior in HS right now.

With regards to which schools...keep up what you are doing and aim for the sky. But understand why. Don't just say Harvard, Yale or Brown, know why you would want to apply there. Is financing your education going to be a concern? Then consider a top level UC or better yet, start looking at scholarships. It is great you are taking an active interest in your education...these days you have to start early.

So keep it up and stay humble...as in keep you mouth closed and your eyes and ears open...success will follow.
