I go to a (very) competitive public HS and plan on majoring in Computer Science. I'm looking to round out my list of colleges with a selective school, particularly good in its engineering/CS programs and experiences.

I've already applied to Penn ED, Maryland, and Illinois for the early deadlines. I'm planning to apply to UC Berkeley, Cornell, and Johns Hopkins later on right now.

Thanks for any suggestions!

COLLEGES I'VE ALREADY CONSIDERED:
MIT, Stanford, Princeton, CMU SCS: RD acceptance rates are too low for my liking.
Georgia Tech, Texas: Too "southern" for my tastes
Caltech: Too small of a school

Some things about me:
GPA: 3.95/4.00 UW, 4.71/5.00 W
Class rank: 35/331 (Will this hurt me?!)
SAT: Single-sitting 2270 (670 CR, 800 M, 800 W, 12 Essay). I also took it a second time but my CR was actually worse than the first time.
ACT: 35 Composite, 35 E, 36 M, 33 R, 36 S, 9 Essay (submitting ACT only if I can choose)
AP: 5's on 8 AP tests
SATII: 800 Math Level II, 780 Chemistry

EC's are rather average. President of two school clubs, members of a few others, 8 years of piano/violin experience. The only thing that might be of interest is an internship at a research laboratory.

I like everything about your profile except that you don’t mention what your family can afford. Have you run the net price calculator at each school, shown the EFC to your parents, and been told that they can afford to pay it?

Yes, check the net prices and what your parents will pay.

Also, which school have you designated as your safety? If there are cost constraints, it needs to be affordable for sure as well as where you will get admitted for sure.

Just to give my birthstate some relief from the steady rate of criticism it gets here on CC, I offer this year’s ten most expensive college tuitions for in-state students:

Of course, it ain’t much relief, but the loving and generous citizens of PA are not alone in making their state’s flagship out-of-reach for many of the state’s neediest citizens. Don’t get me started on what the PA legislature and governor are doing to the public schools of Philadelphia!

I reside in Maryland, and so I designate UMD as my safety (which I applied early to). Based on the EFC and the Net price for several schools, my parents can set aside the EFC, about $30k a year for my tuition.
