hey guys me and my friend are transferring to FSU in the fall and are looking at apartments we are thinking somewhere around 450-500? We were looking at portofino villas by shs....but i have heard some bad reviews....any suggestions?

The farther away from campus you go the better value, generally.

Haha, good luck with that price.

A 2-2 will generally run you about $570 a month…unless you don’t mind living in a REALLY basic place.

@350Z i can get a place at heritage grove for 480 and the floorplan is nice enough for me and my friend…no need to be a jackass…im just looking at all the options

That’s a pretty good deal if that includes utility/internet.

yeah it does…the only thing we need to pay for is electricity…but i still want to see what else is out there

Colony Club has 2x2 for 479 and it includes cable, internet, water, sewage, and pest control. They only thing I pay extra is electricity. I can walk to the union in 20 minutes and there is a bus stop right in the front of the complex, so its really convenient.

My boyfriend and I just signed a lease for Heritage Park. It is not individual leases but for a 2/2 its 725 and over 1000 square feet. That 725 you would split meaning about 363 each and then you would have to split utilities. It includes water, sewer, and pest control. There is also a bus stop right across the street. If you want to find something that isnt a college style dorm then I would suggest checking Heritage Park out.

to the person who said that heritage grove cost only 480, plus electric…not it doesnt i currently live in heritage, and it cost $480 for rent…then internet, cable, and electric…so it runs about $570 a person per month…

my opinion is that you should try and go for a 4/4, it will probably only cost about $430 at beach club
