Hi guys,

I'm currently a senior in HS who will soon graduate this June. With summer coming up so rapidly, I'm desperately looking for internship opportunities. Keep in mind that I'm not 18 yet (won't be till September) so some internships are off limits for me. I plan to major in either engineering/economics and I'm very interested in a career in the business world. I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago (about an hour away from the city) so I guess a daily commute would be okay. I'm mostly just at a loss in where to start the search. Since I don't really have any "connections" so to speak, it makes things a bit more difficult.

Some background info: I did a NASA SHARP internship in Los Angeles last year (this was, however, through a summer program that I found on CC). My grades are generally pretty good. I've been accepted to a prestigious college, Yale, but I have no idea how much this will help. I'm a hard worker and a quick learner.

I'm willing to work for any sort of corporation (consulting, banking, marketing, etc.). I just need an idea of where to start. Who should I contact? What should I say? Where can I find these internships? Are there any programs out there for graduating seniors?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
